
Resolutions are such a funny thing. We wait until a certain day each year to indulge in retrospection and reevaluate many of our life choices. We make promises to ourselves and swear that we will make these changes no.matter.what however how often are our resolutions attainable? I know I am guilty of making ridiculous resolutions that I know I will never be able to achieve (i.e. walk 15,000 steps a day- lets be real I can hardly lock in 5,000 steps on a good day.. no shame haha) and so this year I am changing things up. I have made a short list of resolutions that are attainable, encourage me to be a better person, and that lead to a healthier lifestyle. So for those of y’all (like me) that lose sight of your resolutions about 10 days into the year, heres some resolution inspo:
2018 Resolutions:
- Drink more water!!!
- Try and increase daily steps each week
- Make time to acknowledge the good things I accomplish on a weekly basis rather than focusing on what I need to improve on
- Realize its OK to say no
- Do more adventuring –> there will never be a “perfect time” for anything
- Learn more about photography
- Try a fitness class
- Use more sunscreen
- Read at least 5 books
- Get OUT of your comfort zone –> do 1 thing a month that intimidates you
